Western Sydney Wanderers players on George Street

CBD shoppers were in good company today, with players from Western Sydney Wanderers Football Club paying a visit to the George Street light rail activation zone.

Players Andrew Redmayne, Jerrad Tyson, and Mario Shabow were out and about to meet fans in the festive space between King and Market streets.

Following in their footsteps this Sunday is Wiggles favourite Dorothy the Dinosaur, who arrives on George Street at 10.30am as part of a special family fun day.  As well as live appearances from Dorothy, there will be free face painting, a roaming magician and much more to keep the kids occupied.

In the run-up to Christmas there will be plenty of entertainment on offer, with a range of live performances from choirs, DJs and singers, as well as retail pop-ups to help with last-minute shopping.

It's your city. Know what changes are taking place.
